The Fashion Arch-Tech

Hello,

My name is Nekya Kareema Holmes, and I am the Fashion Arch-Tech. Over the past 15 years, I have spent much of my time and resources on my artistry. I have continued to approach my craft with a student mentality. I have allowed my imagination, pop culture, and fast fashion to mold my professional career in fashion. These are the 3 Deans to my Mental University of Fashion.

The Dean of my imagination is bold and fearless of opinion. Provocative if provoked. The Dean of Pop Culture is loyal to no one but moment; this Dean challenges my intuitive awareness of the subliminal motivation behind trends. The Dean of Fast Fashion is the Dean we all love to hate, but the show would be nothing without this antagonist. This Dean reminds me there will always be a race against time to produce. The Alpha creative will learn to make the best of what is given or consumed by analysis paralysis. 

Approaching my eclectic background in fashion as a Mental University of Fashion allows me to master my craft while still learning it. Each Photoshoot, Technical Design Job, Personal Collection, or DIY Outfit has provided me with a unique curriculum and on-the-job experience. The 3 Deans have cultivated an enthusiastic spirit for fashion to a professional in different genres and sectors of fashion.
